South Africa has recently experienced a strong wave of political movements, in the form of marches, protests and demonstrations. With all of the action, there are day-to-day duties which still need attention. Mayor of Johannesburg, Herman Mashaba, took to the streets and helped his operational team clean up Lenasia – a show of dedication which has been applauded by many locals as well as South Africans from other provinces.
In a world where many countries hear excuses and cover-ups, this political leader has risen to the challenge and proved himself as willing to do what needs to be done, at all levels, to effect a positive change within his community.
