In an outstanding display of sporting talent, Bidvest Wits have taken down Polokwane City in a 2-0 win, scooping up the Premier Soccer League (PSL) Championship Title for the first time in history! In just the third minute, James Keene gave Wits a headstart, with a beautifully finished header goal, thanks to Reeve Froster’s perfect cross. Cementing their victory with a second goal in the second half of the match was Daine Klate. Driving home victory for the very first time, and making national history, the Bidvest Wits team surely have a lot to celebrate and take pride in.
With only a few fixtures remaining at the time of writing this article, Wits have secured their victory this season. Their final match against Kaizer Chiefs won’t be a walk in the park, but will certainly have less of an edge following a hard-earned season win.
